Hey @Locals,
I accidentally hate-watched NXT this week...simply because I hate hate-watching. However, there were some bright spots, pun intended.
Not the one that landed Big E in the hospital with a broken freaking neck...
In the immortal words of "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, "Don't do **** you don't know how to do!"

Whether Vince McMahon challenges God to a wrestling match, or Cactus Jack brings a barbed-wire-wrapped crucifix to a Death Match, religion has not place in wrestling.
Even worse is when the Booker of the Year doesn't apologize for it.
Ring of Honor's legacy will continue, just not in the same capacity as the once-proud, realism-based promotion used to be. Despite who bought it, I am optimistic about it's future.
Speaking of the future of pro-wrestling, Vince McMahon implied on the Pat McAfee show that he is not going anywhere anytime soon. It was his first interview in fifteen years, and it was...well..."stupendous". Like VKM or not, your bias toward him was confirmed, so I'm not going to change your mind about him.
Plus, a fan snuck in a question about Cody. If you have a question, just ask!
Adeel Alam, a.k.a. Mustafa Ali, announced he has asked for his release. Who can blame him? With all the flat characters and out-of-touch storylines Vince, Bruce, et al. create, it's no matter intelligent, thoughtful wrestlers can't wait to leave.
@Locals, what do you think? Comment below!
There were some fun title changes this weekend, both in pro-wrestling and MMA. Speaking of MMA, a major female strawweight fighter announced her retirement.
Also, a bro who's been out of the biz that swears to Gawd that there's still heat between two Attitude Era wrestlers, bro.
Of course, I explain the difference between playing hurt and injured.

I took an intentional unintentional pause from the podcast this week. I have last week's episode, which will be available on Anchor. I have been busy job-hunting and catching up with my life. Unfortunately, life caught up with me.
This past Tuesday, I lost the reason why I became a wrestling fan: my Grandma.
One of my earliest wrestling memories is directly related to my Grandma. I was about seven or eight, and, after Catholic Mass, we went over to Grandma's house for pasta. While my sister and I gleefully ate her spaghetti, WWF All American Wrestling was on is the background.
Disgusted, my mom would always exasperate, "Moooooommmmm, why do you always have this crap on?"
"I LIKE IT," Grandma would exclaim!
Rolling her eyes, my mom would spool a bite and, looking at the t.v., admonished us for watching it, claiming it was "fake".
It was too late. Food plus Eighties WWF plus Grandma's house etched a core memory. I was hooked.
When my mom started to get sicker, we would spend more time ...
I don't know how else to say it. I know I've said it before. This time, until Tony Khan addresses the offensive display during the fifteenth straight AEW Texas Death Match on Good Friday, I'll never watch another match again.
I know TK is shaking in his pair of custom-made wrestling boots. I'm sure he's not losing sleep over it.
It's just the principle of the thing.
